The Shopworx SE-2018 LED Money Detector Unit offers a fast, reliable and practical way to verify banknotes and prevent counterfeit losses at the point of sale

• Designed for busy retail, hospitality and cash-handling environments, this compact desktop unit uses a 4W UV LED light to reveal the security features built into global currencies, giving staff instant confidence in every note that crosses the counter.
• Its integrated reflector directs light evenly across the inspection area for clearer visibility, while the low-profile 158 x 90 x 95 mm housing takes up minimal space at the till.
• Verification isn't limited to cash - the same UV light checks passports, ID cards, driving licences and other official documents, making the unit equally suited to age verification, membership checks and back-office administration.
• Operation requires no training: place the item under the light, and security markings become immediately visible.
• The long-life LED delivers up to 10,000 hours of use with low power consumption, keeping running costs down and removing the need for regular bulb replacement.
• Weighing just 0.4kg and supplied ready to use with a mains cable, the unit is easy to position, relocate or share between workstations.
• UKCA and CE certified and backed by a two-year warranty, it provides a cost-effective first line of defence against counterfeit currency and fraudulent documentation.
